Important Announcement – ​​Ministry of Energy
The Ministry of Energy calls upon colleagues who were dismissed from service due to the blessed Syrian Revolution (totaling 341 workers across various entities affiliated with the Ministry) to report to the locations specified next to each name to complete the next stage of the return-to-work procedures.
This is in accordance with the attached lists:
- Syrian Electricity Company (formerly Ministry of Electricity): 96 workers.
- General Establishment for Drinking Water and Sanitation (formerly Ministry of Water Resources): 210 workers.
- General Authority for Water Resources (formerly Ministry of Water Resources): 27 workers.
- General Establishment for the Euphrates Dam: 7 workers.
- General Establishment for Geology and Mineral Resources: 1 worker.
Reporting begins on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
This step is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to address the cases of those dismissed due to the Revolution and to complete the necessary regulatory, legal, and administrative procedures to properly restore employment rights to the concerned individuals. The Ministry affirms its continued review and follow-up of the remaining applications and files, aiming to restore employment rights and facilitate the return to work for all eligible dismissed employees.
