The Minister of Energy attends a hearing at the People's Assembly and presents a general briefing on the state of the energy sector and the Ministry's operations

Minister of Energy, Engineer Mohammed Al-Bashir, attended a hearing held by the People's Assembly today, where he provided a general briefing on the state of the energy sector and the Ministry's operations across its various areas of responsibility.
Through a presentation, the Minister outlined the Ministry's activities in the oil, gas, electricity, water, and mineral resources sectors—among others—as well as the progress of program and plan implementation, current requirements, and the key challenges facing the sector.
He also addressed questions and inquiries from members regarding operations and service delivery, providing detailed and transparent responses while explaining the measures being taken to improve performance and enhance the sector's readiness for the upcoming period
