Over 7 Million Liters of Gasoline Arrive in All Syrian Governorates Today
As part of the ongoing daily distribution plan for petroleum products, gasoline distribution orders were dispatched today from the two main distribution hubs in Baniyas and Homs to various Syrian governorates. A total of 305 shipments have been allocated, at a volume of 24,000 liters per shipment, totaling 7,320,000 liters of gasoline, aimed at boosting fuel station reserves and meeting local demand across the governorates.
Relevant companies and institutions in the fuel sector continue to execute supply and distribution operations according to the approved plan. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy, under the direct guidance of the Minister of Energy, Eng. Mohammad Al-Bashir, is closely monitoring field distribution operations around the clock to ensure the prompt arrival of shipments to fuel stations and the uninterrupted flow of supplies across all governorates.
Over the past few days, several fuel stations experienced overcrowding and temporary stock depletion due to an extraordinary surge in demand, which created additional pressure on the stations while supply and distribution operations continued regularly without interruption.
The Ministry of Energy, in coordination with relevant fuel sector entities, continues to track distribution movements and step up quantities sent to the governorates. This ensures a prompt response to growing demand and accelerates the arrival of fuel tankers at stations in accordance with the daily approved plan.
The Ministry of Energy urges citizens to visit fuel stations only when necessary for actual refueling and to avoid panic buying. It reassures the public that supplies remain steady and that citizen cooperation helps relieve pressure on stations, ensuring a faster and smoother supply process to all governorates.
