Energy Services Directorates across governorates are continuing their intensive inspection campaigns on fuel stations, as part of the Ministry of Energy's efforts to regulate the petroleum market, ensure compliance with governing regulations, and protect citizens' rights.
The inspection tours resulted in recording 153 violations and closing 8 fuel stations. The infractions included overcharging, unauthorized use of reserve stocks, selling outside regular meters, and violating executive instructions issued by the Ministry of Energy, with legal procedures taken against offenders accordingly.
